I had a dream …

I think I’ve reached a new level of knitting obsession. Last year I bought some beautiful color gradient yarn for a Stephen West Chrysler shawl. I got almost to the end of the shawl and just was not happy with it.

The pattern drove me nuts. The gradient took forever to shift and wasn’t looking at all like what I had envisioned so I frogged it.

A few nights ago I had a dream in which I used the yarn (Bilum Loli) for the Brette wrap by Rastus Hsu. I will not be making it nearly as long, but I am so intrigued by the origami effect of this knitting method.

Should I go ahead and cast-on? Do I finish Cinnamon Daydream first? Perhaps I should finish the dog training course I purchased, or start spring yard clean-up instead of starting yet another project? Maybe I use it for another SW shawl. I should probably be buckling down on running and bike riding for the races I have coming up. I wish I could run and knit at the same time.
